Refund Policy

At Alter Auto Sales, your satisfaction is our priority. If you’re not completely satisfied with your purchase, we’re here to help. Please review our refund and return policy below.


🔁 Returns

You may return most new, unused, and uninstalled items within 15 days of the delivery date for a refund.

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Items must be in original, unused condition
  • Must include all original packaging, labels, and documentation
  • Return must be initiated within 15 days of receiving your order

If the item has been installed, used, or damaged by the customer, we reserve the right to deny the return or charge a restocking fee.

🚫 Returns are not accepted for:

  • Electrical or electronic components
  • Special order or custom items
  • Items marked “non-returnable” at time of purchase

💰 Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you by email. If approved, your refund will be processed within 5–10 business days to your original payment method.

Please note:

  • Original shipping charges are non-refundable
  • A restocking fee (typically 10–20%) may apply in certain cases
  • Refund timelines may vary depending on your bank or card issuer

🔄 Exchanges

We currently do not offer direct exchanges. If you need a different item, please place a new order and return the original product for a refund.


❌ Cancellations

Orders can be canceled within 1 hour of placement by contacting us immediately at support@alterautosales.com or calling 1 661 567 7354. Once your order has shipped, it cannot be canceled and must be returned according to our return policy.


📦 Return Shipping

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless:

  • The wrong item was shipped
  • The item arrived damaged or defective
  • The return is due to an error on our part

We recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We are not responsible for lost or undelivered return packages.


📸 Damaged or Incorrect Items

If you receive a damaged or incorrect item, please contact us within 5 business days of delivery with:

  • Your order number
  • A description of the issue
  • Photos of the item and packaging (if applicable)

We’ll provide a prepaid return label and send a replacement or issue a full refund as needed.

This policy complies with applicable California state consumer protection laws, including your right to return defective merchandise for a full refund, repair, or replacement under the California Civil Code.
